Introduction
Winoa North America is seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at our Melvindale, MI facility. With a strong background in industrial maintenance and facilities management, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity in all operations.
Your Mission
As a Maintenance Manager at Winoa North America, you will:
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
- Develop and implement project management plans for maintenance initiatives to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Train, mentor, and lead maintenance staff in best practices for industrial maintenance and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Experience with foundry processes, including electric controls, water and hydraulic circuits, and the sequences involved in equipment startup and shutdown, is highly desirable.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a foundry environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Leadership: A hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to traverse the facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs.
- Capability to perform physical repairs when necessary.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds as needed.
Schedule
- Day shift and evening shift.
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as required.
Location & Relocation
This position is based in Melvindale, MI. Candidates must relocate to the area before starting work.
