Started from a joint venture between Bell Intercorp (USA) and Société des Hauts Fourneaux & Forges d’Allevard (FR) in the Gresivaudan valley, we are delighted to celebrate this year, our 60th Anniversary. We take this opportunity to thank all our customers, partners and stakeholders for their trust on this journey, which we have experienced together.
We are proud of this journey, and of Winoa’s worldwide development and leadership position, which would never have happened without the contribution and dedication of our teams; that is why we owe a very special thanks to our dedicated Winoa family.
Through the past decades, many things have changed: we had to innovate, adapt to the market and environment and at times, had to think outside of the box… but from the very beginning until today, one thing has never changed: our ambition is to always exceed our customer’s expectations all over the world. This ambition is what leads us today to move forward, to evolve from an abrasives’ manufacturer to a global services provider.
As we’ve now entered the fully digital age, we are getting prepared to face all the new challenges that we will face and preparing to always keep one step ahead.
These challenges will also consist in developing our activities in a fully sustainable way.

From our hometown in Le Cheylas, now to a global leader in abrasive products was the story of the last 60 years. Now building on that base of product leadership and, emerging into a sustainable technology leader in surface treatment, is our vision for the next 60 years.
